International Accounting Standards Board (IASB)

1.  The IASB has published the July/August IFRS for SMEs Update - the IFRS for SMEs has been adopted in Mauritius and a new training module and new translations are available.

2.  The IFRS Foundation has published the IFRS Taxonomy 2011 Interim Release: Common-practice concepts, providing about 350 extensions for the most common concepts used in the financial statements (Press Release).

3.  Webcast Registration for the 19-23 September IASB Board Meeting is now available.

4.  The IASB calendar has been updated.

International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB)

1.  The agenda and background papers for the 12-16 September 2011 IPSASB Board Meeting are now available.

Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB)

1.  The FASB released the proposed 2012 U.S. GAAP Financial Reporting Taxonomy for public review and comment (Press Release).

2.  Registration for the 8-9 September 2011 FASB Board Meeting is now available.

3.  The handouts for the 8-9 September 2011 FASB Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee Meeting are now available.

4.  The FASB calendar has been updated.

Asian-Oceanian Standard-Setters Group (AOSSG)

1.  The AOSSG has submitted a comment letter on the EFRAG's Discussion Paper Considering the Effect of Accounting Standards.

2.  Registration for the 25 November 2011 National IFRS Conference: Asia & Oceania to be held in Melbourne, Australia is now available.

Accounting Standards Board (AcSB)

1.  The AcSB has issued an Exposure Draft that corresponds to the IASB’s Exposure Draft Mandatory Effective Date of IFRS 9.

 
 
   
5. United Kingdom
   

Financial Reporting Council (FRC)

1.  The FRC has issued two reports titled  Boards and Risk - A Summary of Discussions with Companies, Investors and Advisers and Effective Company Stewardship - Next Steps, to improve corporate reporting transparency. 

Accounting Standards Board (ASB)

1.  The agenda for the 8 September 2011 ASB Board Meeting is now available.

External Reporting Board (XRB)

1.  The New Zealand Accounting Standards Board (NZASB) has prepared a questionnaire to allow constituents to respond quickly and easily to the IASB’s Request for Views Agenda Consultation.
