Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB)

1.  The January 2012 FASB Update Financial Statement User Edition is now available. 

2.  FASB has issued a proposed accounting standards update Revenue Recognition (Topic 605): Revenue from Contracts with Customers for comment by 13 March 2012.

3.  FASB has issued an accounting standards update Comprehensive Income (Topic 220): Deferral of the Effective Date for Amendments to the Presentation of Reclassifications of Items Out of Accumulated Other Comprehensive Income in Accounting Standards Update No. 2011-05.

4.  Registration for the series of FASB and IASB public roundtable meetings to improve accounting for investment companies and investment property entities is now available.

Asian-Oceanian Standard-Setters Group (AOSSG)

1.  The AOSSG has commented on the IASB ED/2011/4 Investment Entities.

2.  The AOSSG Islamic Finance Working Group has issued a publication of an AOSSG Survey – Accounting for Islamic Financial Transactions and Entities.

Accounting Standards Board (AcSB)

1.  The AcSB’s User Advisory Council has issued a comment letter on the IASB ED Investment Entities.

European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG)

Accounting Standards Board of Japan (ASBJ)
