International Accounting Standards Board (IASB)

1.  The webcast of the IASB’s agenda consultation held on 3 August 2011 is now available.

2.  The summary of the conclusions of the IFRS Foundation Trustees’ Due Process Oversight Committee (DPOC) meeting held on 12 July 2011 is now available.

3.  The agenda and registration for the IFRS Foundation conference to be held in São Paulo, Brazil on 27-28 October 2011 are now available.

4.  The August 2011 Investor Perspective is now available - Ian Mackintosh, the Vice-Chair of the IASB, writes about the IASB consultation on its future work programme.

5.  The IASB has issued an Exposure Draft proposing to adjust the mandatory effective date of IFRS 9 Financial Instruments from 1 January 2013 to 1 January 2015 (Press Release).

6.  The IASB calendar has been updated.

Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB)

3.  The application for the FASB Public Roundtable Meeting on 11 October 2011 to solicit input on private-company accounting and reporting issues is now open until 13 September 2011.

1.  The AcSB invites submission of issues in relation to the application of IFRSs in Canada for the coming IFRS Discussion Group Meeting to be held on 28 September 2011 in Toronto (Press Release). 

 
 
   
4. Europe
   

European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG)

1.  The EFRAG has issued its Final Comment Letter on the Report of the IFRS FoundationTrustees' Strategy Review (Strategy Review II).

2.  The EFRAG secretariat has provided the European Commission with a report on findings regarding the administrative costs of implementing country-by-country reporting.

3.  The EFRAG calendar has been updated.

Accounting Standards Committee of Germany (ASCG)
