International Accounting Standards Board (IASB)

1.  The IASB has published proposals to define 'investment entities' as a separate type of entity that would be exempt from the accounting requirements in IFRS 10 Consolidated Financial Statements (Press Release).

2.  The August 2011 Investor Perspective is now available - Patricia McConnell, an IASB Board member, writes an article titled Benefits of the IASB’s recent revisions to pension accounting.

3.  Registration and the agenda for the 8-9 September 2011 IFRS Interpretations Committee meeting is now available
